Today, someone asked me if I hadn't slept for 24 hours on the day of the incident. I said that's true, but it wasn't just me—Brother Sun, as well as our internal security, legal, and risk control teams, were the same.

Last week, we completed the recording of the first episode of CP Talk.
My biggest impression is: this is an incredibly vibrant industry.
Every day, new ideas come in, and people find their own direction here.
More than the market trends and data, what attracts me most are the real people and their genuine experiences.
So I increasingly feel that the stories of ordinary people are also worth recording and listening to.

Main professional experience:
2016–2017: Associate at Prospect Capital Management. Engaged in private credit investment, which is a field within alternative asset management.
2017–2019: Partner at ChainStreet Capital. This is a quantitative cryptocurrency hedge fund where he participated in algorithmic event-driven trading.
2019–2021: Goldman Sachs Global Markets Division, Digital Assets team. Focused on cryptocurrency market services, institutional-grade blockchain infrastructure, decentralized issuance and trading of traditional securities, and strategic investments. This was a key phase in his transition from traditional finance to crypto.
2021 to present: Founder and CEO of Ondo Finance. He co-founded the company in 2021 with Pinku Surana.
Focused on tokenizing traditional financial products such as U.S. Treasuries and corporate bonds.
Providing on-chain yield products for institutions and retail investors.
Has received support from top VCs like Founders Fund and Pantera Capital, with significant growth in tokenized assets under management.
Education
Brown University: Earned an A.B. (Bachelor of Arts) degree. Some sources also mention an affiliation with Stanford (possibly for further studies or projects).
Nathan Allman’s career path typically reflects the transition from traditional finance (private credit → Goldman Sachs digital assets) to crypto/DeFi. He is especially skilled at combining institutional-grade compliance with on-chain innovation, driving RWA tokenization toward mainstream adoption. Under his leadership, Ondo Finance has become a leading platform in the RWA space.

Nate also helped us build a durable organization with experienced leaders across all facets of the business. Ian De Bode, Ondo Finance’s longtime President, will serve as CEO. Ian has been leading our strategy, product, and day-to-day operations for over two years and has the full confidence of the leadership team.
We will continue building what Nate started. That is the most meaningful way we know to honor him.
