How can I quickly top up my OKX Wallet gas fee from the OKX Exchange?
When sending assets from your OKX Wallet, the required gas fee is paid in the mainnet token of the corresponding network. For example, on the TRON network, transferring assets will consume the TRON mainnet token, so you need to pay TRX as the gas fee. Different blockchain networks use different cryptocurrencies for gas fees. Please refer to the information displayed on the page for details.
If you are unable to swap for the required gas fee within the wallet, you can top it up via an exchange withdrawal. Using TRX as an example:
Transfer from Exchange:
1. Open your OKX app > Tap Exchange to switch to Web3 > Tap Send > Select the cryptocurrency and network > Enter or select the receiving address.
2. Enter the transfer amount, then select Fill up TRX.
3. Select Transfer from Exchange > Tap Next > Enter the withdraw amount > Tap Next.
Note: Each cryptocurrency has a minimum withdrawal amount. The actual amount is subject to what’s shown on the page.
4. After the gas fee top-up is completed, you can continue sending your assets.
Note:
If you do not see the Transfer from Exchange option after tapping Fill up TRX, it means your wallet isn’t linked to your exchange account. Please link them first. For more details: What's Wallet Connect?
The OKX Wallet app doesn’t support the Transfer from Exchange option. You can still top up gas fees by receiving cryptocurrency directly into your wallet.
