How do I contact customer service if I experience account takeover or fraud?

Recently, OKX has received feedbacks about accounts takeover or scammed, including wallet hacked, account hacked, and reports of fraud. Please stay vigilant: do not transfer funds to strangers, do not click on suspicious links, do not authorize your wallet carelessly, and never share your seed phrase/private key with strangers. Be cautious to avoid hacked and scams.

If you encounter situations where your account or wallet has been stolen or scammed, you can go to Online Support, enter the keyword “stolen”, and you will be directly connected to a dedicated customer service representative for anti-theft and anti-fraud. They will verify your specific situation and handle the related issues for you.

The operation methods are as follows:

1. Open the App Home, tap the full function icon in the upper left corner, and tap [Get Help].

2. At the bottom of the support center page, click [Online Chat], enter [Stolen], and click [Send] to directly contact online customer service.

Important notes:

1. If you discover that your wallet has been compromised, it is recommended that you transfer the remaining assets to a secure address as soon as possible. Contact online customer service immediately.

2. When reporting theft or fraud, be sure to provide a detailed description of the time the incident occurred, the amount involved, suspicious my trades, and other key information. If you have relevant screenshots, please provide them promptly so that customer service can fully understand the situation and take targeted measures.

3. The platform will take confidentiality measures for the information you provide, so please feel free to report if you encounter theft, fraud, or suspicious transactions.

4. The platform places great importance on the security of your assets. If you encounter such situations, please contact customer service directly by entering [stolen] through the online customer service channel to quickly report the issue.

How can I view my private key?

On the Web3 wallet homepage, click the top right 【Full Function Icon】-【Wallet Backup】-【Wallet】-【seed phrase】 to view your seed phrase.

Note: Please make sure to properly and securely back up your wallet's seed phrase and address private key. Do not store them in a network environment. It is recommended that you write down the seed phrase and keep it in a safe place. Never disclose your seed phrase or private key to others. Do not click on unfamiliar links, scan unknown QR codes, authorize unknown third-party projects, or swap unfamiliar coins, to prevent loss of your assets.
